Here are the five lethal foreign pros to watch at the Magical Kenya Open

Action on the DP World Tour moves to Nairobi this week as the Magical Kenya Open tees off on Thursday at Muthaiga Golf Club. This will be the fifth event on the Tour calendar this year.  T-OFF News takes a look at the top 10 most consistent performers who will be in action at Muthaiga:

Scott Jamieson

Currently ranked 20th on the Tour, Jamieson has been in fine form this year registering two top-10 finishes in his last four outings. He finished 10th at the tough Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in January and followed it with another impressive T9 at the Ras al Khaimah Classic early this month. His lowest placement this year has been T35 finish at the Dubai Desert Classic which was followed by 21st position finish at the Ras al Khaimah Championship to install the 38 year-old Scotland player a favourite to win in Kenya.

Justin Harding

The defending champion has two top 10 finishes this year. His best performance so far was at the Dubai Desert Classic where he finished T4 behind Viktor Hovland, Richard Bland and Rory McIlroy. The 36-year-old South African, the highest ranked player in the field in position 11 on the DP World Tour, had a good run at the star-studded Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship where he finished 25th. Another good outing at the Ras al Khaimah Classic saw him finish T9. Harding has always performed well in Nairobi and is heavily tipped to successfully defend his title.

Adrian Meronk

Despite not registering any win on the DP World Tour, the 28 year-old has had a relatively good start to the season finishing twice in the top-10 in his last three events. Meronk finished T4 at the Dubai Desert Classic and T6 at the Ras al Khaimah Classic but failed to test his form against the strong Abu Dhabi field when he withdrew from the tournament. A poor outing at the Ras al Khaimah Championship where he finished T57 momentarily halted his charge up the Tour order of merit and is currently in position 15.

Adri Arnaus

The Spaniard is enjoying a superb start to the season. He finished eighth at the Portugal Masters late last year and followed it up with another good performance at the DP World Tour Championship where he finished ninth. The 27 year-old has maintained the momentum this year finishing T20 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and ninth at the Ras al Khaimah Classic. Though he missed the cut at the Dubai Desert Classic Arnaus, currently placed 49th on the Tour, is in good form to register his first win on Tour this week.

Marcus Armitage

The Englishman boasts of three top-20 finishes this season including T16 at the DP World Tour, T12 at the Dubai Desert Classic and T9 at the Ras al Khaimah Classic. The 34-year-old currently ranked 31st on the Tour has one win to his name. His only blemish this season is a missed cut at Abu Dhabi HSBC where he finished T85.

Other top contenders who have been in fine form this season include China’s Asun Wu, Japan’s Masahiro Kawamura, Richie Ramsay and Syme Connor from Scotland and Dean Burmester of South Africa.
