Top amateur lady golfers from Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe converged at Karen Country Club and Sigona for the Gilberson and Page Trophy (G&P), an international triangular match held every two years. The Kenya ladies team captained by Wanjiru Karume finished second behind Zimbabwe. The event which consists of foursome and singles matches has been held for the last 50 years. The inaugural event was played in 1969 as a match between East Africa and Zambia.
This second season of the Safari Tour retains the format from the inaugural season – four rounds of golf and a ProAm round, but now includes events in Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.
