Minimum Appearance

The 20 Elite Players must face-off in 17 mandatory events. These include the four majors, the Players Championship and 12 “elevated events” with average purses of $20m and any other three PGA Tour events.

Guaranteed prize money

All fully-exempt players will earn a minimum of $500,000 under the new “Earnings Assurance Program”. Rookies and returning members will receive the money upfront while established players will receive the cash at the end of the season, less their earnings. The players must play at least 15 events to earn the minimum.

Stipends for Rookies

Players who aren’t fully exempt but have some PGA Tour status will receive a $5,000 stipend every time they play an event and miss the cut to cater for travel and tournament-related expenses.
